TV mounting & compatibility
What is the VESA standard?
The VESA standard defines the distance between the four mounting holes on the back of your TV. It is always given as a "horizontal distance × vertical distance" (in mm).
- Example: VESA 200×100 means a hole distance of 200 mm in width and 100 mm in height.
Is my TV compatible with this stand?
Whether a stand base fits depends on three factors:
- VESA size: Check the VESA chart on the product page.
- Load capacity: The weight of your TV must not exceed the maximum load capacity of the stand base.
- Recommended size: The inch specifications in the product title serve as an aesthetic guideline. As long as the VESA size and weight fit, installation is safely possible.
Are curved TVs compatible with the stands?
Yes. Our stands are generally also suitable for curved TVs. If the back of your device has a very special shape, please contact our customer service or the manufacturer of your TV for confirmation.
Are assembly materials and tools included in the delivery?
Yes, the mounting kit includes standard screws and tools that fit most common TV models. If you need special sizes for a specific model, please contact our customer support – we will be happy to assist you.
How complex is the installation and how many people are needed?
Each product comes with detailed instructions. Due to the size and weight of many televisions, we recommend for safety reasons assembly by two people, especially when hanging the television on the stand.
How do you calculate the center height of the TV on the stand?
To determine the exact height of the screen center above the floor, use the following formula:
Center height = Height of the mount (H1) ± VESA offset (H2)
- H1 (Mount): The distance from the floor to the center of the mounting plate of the stand base.
- H2 (Offset): The distance between the VESA hole center on the back of the TV and the actual center of your screen.
- Calculation: If the VESA holes are below the screen center, add H1 + H2. If they are above, subtract H1 - H2.
💡 Example calculation: If the mount is set to 100 cm (H1) and the VESA holes are 5 cm below your screen center (H2), the final center height is 105 cm.
Does the stand base have cable management?
Yes, we offer various solutions. Depending on the model, the cables are either hidden inside the column or routed along the legs using special cable clips. You can find details on the respective product page.
What adjustment options (height, rotatability) are available?
The features vary depending on the model (e.g., height adjustability, swivel function, or tilt). Please check the technical specifications of the respective product to find the right solution for your needs.
Are the casters lockable and can they be retrofitted?
- Models with wheels have a locking function to ensure a secure stand.
- For many models without wheels, it is also possible to purchase suitable wheels separately and retrofit them (depending on the model).
Could the base scratch my floor?
No. Our TV stands are equipped with non-slip protective glides. These provide additional stability and reliably protect delicate floors such as parquet or tiles from scratches.
